app will not move past finding wifi connection

Hey there, So you’ve been into your phone settings and set the Olfi up as a wifi connection and tried to pair with the device but can’t?

firstly, You need to ensure that your phone/device is not trying to connect to a stronger internet based wifi connection. There is usually the option, in your settings, to automatically connect to available networks. Ensure this is not enabled.

Also, you need to ensure mobile data is off on some android devices as this pulls the connection from your camera.

In the first instance, to check the connectivity between your camera and device, i’d recommend putting your phone into flight mode but enabling wifi, and ensuring that your phone does not automatically connect to available networks. Start by turning your wifi on on your camera. Go into your phone/tablet settings and let it find the Olfi. Insert the password 12345678. Let the connection build, then go into your Olfi app, ensure that the correct camera is selected, and connect.

If you’re still experiencing issues, can you please let me know what device you are using, which camera you have, and what firmware versions you are running on on your camera?
